NTV channel has begun filming the car show Rossiya Rulit (Russia Drives!). The project is based on the entertainment format Drive Master, which NTV developed in partnership with Keshet International. This is the first joint project for the Russian TV channel and the largest global television market player in the development of a new television format.

NTV will air the large-scale car talent show, Rossiya Rulit!, in the new season. The competition for the honour of being called the best driver in the country will consist of seven qualifying rounds, in which contestants will show off their driving skills. Popular showman Nikolay Fomenko will host the Russian version of the contest, while actress Polina Maksimova co-hosts. The skills of the project’s participants will be evaluated by well-known race car driver Vitaly Petrov, the first Russian Formula 1 pilot and pilot of SMP Racing, and journalist Mikhail Gorbachev, who is a car expert and former race car driver as well. Nikolay Fomenko will also have voting rights in the contest.

The Rossiya Rulit! talent show is developed jointly by NTV and Auto Plus TV channels, with the support of SMP Racing, a program for the development of Russian motorsport. White Media is handling the production side of the project.

The show is made with the support of Gazprombank and the insurance company SOGAZ. Gazpromneft Smazochny Materialy, which produces G-Energy car oils, is the technical partner of the project.
