NTV-PLUS has played an active role in the “Development of TV and Radio Broadcasting in the Russian Federation, 2009–2018” federal program. The station gave people living outside the digital terrestrial television broadcasting zone special equipment and free access to TV channels.
Agreements were made with the Republic of Yakutia, the Republic of Mordovia, Kostroma Oblast, Altai Krai, Primorsky Krai, Khabarovsk Krai and Kamchatka Krai.
President Putin praised company’s contribution to the project and awarded NTV-PLUS General Manager Natalya Gorbunova a certificate “For a Great Contribution to the Russian Federation’s Transition to Digital Broadcasting”. General Manager of GPM Radio Yuri Kostin also received a congratulatory certificate from the president.
