TV-3 launches new project Kinoteatr Arzamas

TV-3 channel and the online resource Arzamas.academy are launching a new cultural and educational television project Kinoteatr Arzamas (Arzamas Cinema). The program will air weekly in the evenings.

The show host Filipp Dzyadko, chief editor of Arzamas.academy, and his guests, leading Russian humanitarians, will analyze classical Soviet films through the prism of history, explain the meaning of every detail in the script, character costumes and set decorations.

In the first episode of the show Kinoteatr Arzamas, Filipp Dzyadko and Soviet culture historian Ilya Venyavkin will take apart the musical comedy Tsirk (Circus), featuring Lyubov Orlova. In the following episodes, the experts will analyze such films as Ya Shagayu po Moskve (Walking the Streets of Moscow), Brilliantovaya Ruka (The Diamond Arm) and Garazh (Garage).
