The new series #YAZHOTETS (#IAMAFATHER) will premiere on September 20 at 20:00. This comedy hit is a mix of video blogging and parenting advice. The series was made by Comedy Club Production with Gosha Kutsenko and Aleksey Rodionov playing the lead roles.
The central character is 44-year-old Mikhail Grechikhin who has a blog with his son about unpacking children’s toys. After getting divorced Grechikhin changes the blog format and uses it to educate his son instead. This will be an experimental project for TNT channel, bringing together the comedy, screenlife and mockumentary genres. Each episode is a video blog in which Grechikhin teaches his son various skills, such as how to cook, how to navigate an unfamiliar terrain, how to put together furniture and work with construction tools, how to drive, play paintball, fish and much more. More often than not the father’s lessons don’t go according to plan. Grechikhin needs to improvise, which leads to funny, ridiculous and sometimes even extreme consequences.
