Channel 2x2 has launched the animated series Zhivoi Sredi Chuzhikh (Alive Among Strangers), which was created by its own 2x2 Animation Studio. The project first aired on January 28 and will come out on weekdays at 19:45.
The animated sitcom Zhivoi Sredi Chuzhikh tells the story of an ordinary zombie family. The action takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all people have become zombies, although this does not prevent them from going about their usual activities: going to work and on dates, or fighting with their neighbours. The main character of the series, the student Pasha, is the only living person in this zombie world. He needs to adapt to the new reality since he is surrounded by the walking dead.
According to the program’s creators, Zhivoi Sredi Chuzhikh is a parody on upbeat family sitcoms.
