The pilot episode of the project S Chego Nachinaetsya Futbol (Where Does Football Begin), dedicated to children's football in Russia, will air on Match TV channel on September 30.
The program will cover a whole range of issues that touch on the state of infrastructure, popularization of football among children, financial problems and other topics. The documentary cycle is made up of four issues lasting 24 minutes each.
Match TV viewers will see interviews with children's coaches, students of football academies, and national team players. The film crew not only visited many Russian football academies, ranging from the most advanced that are attached to the Russian Premier League clubs to regional ones, but also compared the state of children's football in Russia with the current situation in the European academies.
