TNT and Denis Simachev Release a Capsule Collection Ahead of Pereval Dyatlova

TNT will start showing the miniseries Pereval Dyatlova (Dead Mountain: The Dyatlov Pass Incident) on November 16, and the show will also be available to PREMIER video service subscribers.

Pereval Dyatlova is a mystical drama/documentary thriller starring Pyotr Fyodorov that looks into the events of 1959 when a group of students took a trip to the Ural Mountains under the leadership of Igor Dyatlov and mysteriously perished.

Russian fashion designer Denis Simachev is releasing a capsule collection inspired by the story of these Soviet students and 1950–1960s hiking fashions just in time for the series premiere. The collection includes a quilted jacket, an oversize ski sweater, T-shirts and sweatshirts.

Two storylines intertwine throughout Pereval Dyatlova: the first, in color, is the investigation of the tragedy by KGB Major Oleg Kostin and the second, in black and white, is an artistic reconstruction of the students’ trip and their preparations for it. Evgeny Nikishov and Valery Fyodorovich directed and produced Pereval Dyatlova, while Pavel Kostomarov served as creative director.

The atmosphere of the show is reflected in Simachev’s collection, which will be available both in color and black-and-white, and Pereval Dyatlova stars Maria Matsel, Irina Kasamara, Maxim Emelyanov and Ivan Mulin took part in a photoshoot dedicated to its release.
