CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding Aleksandr Zharov Announced the Release of the Animated Film Miracle About Sergius of Radonezh and a Musical About Alexander Pushkin
Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova, CEO of Gazprom-Media Holding JSC Aleksandr Zharov, and CEO of Central Partnership LLC (CPSH) Vadim Vereshchagin discussed the holding’s projects and necessary measures of state support at a working meeting.
Aleksandr Zharov announced the release of the animated children’s film Miracle, which will relate the life and fate of the Miracle Worker Sergius of Radonezh. The premiere is scheduled for the summer.
In addition, a musical film under the working title The Prophet is in production. It is dedicated to the life story of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin from the lyceum to his tragic death. It is a joint project of the CPSH and the Kinoslovo studio, and it will be released in the first half of 2024.
It is the story of the difficult path of the hero who has become the main symbol of Russian literature. The cultural authority of Pushkin is undeniable: his works, intonations, and irony are relevant to this day.
