The mystical horror Rusalka. Ozero Myortvykh (Mermaid. Lake of the Dead), which was directed by Svetoslav Podgayevsky and produced by KIT Film Studios (part of Gazprom-Media Holding) and QS Films, was released in Mexican cinemas on January 25. The film will be shown on 635 screens in the country.
Brazilian spectators will also be able to see the film as of January 31, and starting from February 7, the film will be screened to Colombian viewers.
BF Distribution is managing the film’s distribution in Latin America. Rusalka. Ozero Myortvykh has already had a successful run in Peru, Chile, Argentina and Bolivia, and the film is still showing in cinemas in Ecuador, Panama, Guatemala, and Uruguay. More than 300,000 people have already seen the Russian film in these countries.
