The film Masha, directed by Anastasia Palchikova, will compete for the main award in honor of George Gund III at the 45th Cleveland International Film Festival. Eight films from Central and Eastern Europe focusing on social justice and activism are taking part in the competition, and Kantemir Balagov’s Dylda (Beanpole) won last year.
