The film Blood Type opened the Russian Film Festival in Venezuela preview

The military drama about the history of a children’s donor concentration camp in Vyritsa was presented in Caracas. The festival organizer is ROSKINO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture.

«We welcome and applaud Russian cinema at the opening of the film festival in Caracas».

Ernesto Villegas Minister of Culture of Venezuela

The film was created as part of the federal project Bez sroka davnosti (No Statute of Limitations) by the film company Triiks Media with the support of Gazprom-Media Holding, the Cinema Fund, the Russian Military Historical Society, and the Movement of the First.

«Modern Russian cinema combines depth, emotion, and humanity. We are pleased to share with our Venezuelan friends stories that reflect traditional values and strengthen cultural ties between our countries. It is especially pleasing that most of the festival’s films can be watched with the whole family. After all, the family, both in Russia and Venezuela, is the heart of society, which we cherish and value».

Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov Ambassador of Russia to Venezuela

The participation of Gruppa krovi (Blood Type) in the festival is a continuation of the film’s broad international presentation. In August, the General Director of Gazprom-Media Holding, Aleksandr Zharov, presented the military drama in China, where its release began on September 5. The film participated in the program of the international action «Night of Cinema», with screenings held at Russian film festivals in Bahrain and Uzbekistan. In October, Blood Type was included in the competition program of feature films at the 19th International Trans-Saharan Film Festival in Morocco.

Gazprom-Media Holding pays great attention to creating content that preserves and strengthens cultural and historical heritage, as well as promoting Russian culture as a powerful brand deserving of global recognition.
