Aleksey Kozlov Named Head of the St. Petersburg Branch of GPM Radio

Aleksey Kozlov became the new director of the GPM Radio branch in St. Petersburg. Among his key tasks are the improvement of the operating efficiency of assets managed by the Gazprom-Media Radio branch, the further development of its strategy, and the growth of the audience and financial performance.

Years of work in the media of St. Petersburg have given me a lot. Here, I have gained tremendous practical experience, knowledge of the market, industry, and regional particularities. I would like to express my gratitude to the management of Gazprom-Media Radio for the confidence that has been put in me. For my part, I will do my best to strengthen the positions of radio stations in the region and bring them to a new stage of development. I am sure that the experience I gained at CTC Media and the professionalism of the team I will be working with will help me achieve my goals.

GPM Radio is the largest player in the St. Petersburg market. The radio holding unites seven radio brands: Avtoradio, which in the city on the Neva can be heard on 88.4 FM, Humor FM (88.9 FM), Radio ENERGY (95.0 FM), Like FM (104.8 FM), Comedy Radio (95.9 FM), Children’s radio (103.7 FM), and Radio Zenith (89.7 FM). With an 11.3% share of listeners among the target audience of 12+ years old, GPM Radio is in the top 3 market players.
According to Mediascope*, 2.56 million Petersburgers choose GPM Radio formats every month. This means that 55% of the inhabitants of the Northern capital over the age of 12 tune in to GPM Radio stations at least once per month. One in five citizens listens to GPM Radio daily.
Aleksey Kozlov graduated from MATI—Tsiolkovsky Russian State Technological University. From 2011 to 2021, he worked as the General Director of CTC Media in St. Petersburg. Prior to that, he oversaw various areas in the holding: he held positions of regional director and director of management of companies without partners. In 2011, he completed an internship at MTG Stockholm Sweden.
