​Gazprom-Media Holding announces new appointment in Sem Dney publishing house

Gazprom-Media Holding has announced that Kirill Aleksandrovich Dybsky became the president of Sem Dney publishing house as of June 2, 2020. He previously held the position of editor-in-chief of the magazines Karavan Istorii (Caravan of Stories) and Kollektsiya Karavan Istorii (Caravan of Stories Collection).

Dmitry Vadimovich Biryukov, who has led the publishing house since its establishment in 1995, has decided to leave the company to pursue his personal projects. Under his leadership, the publishing house has become a recognized leader in the industry. All the media projects launched during this time were popular among readers and highly rated by the media community.

Kirill Aleksandrovich Dybsky is a journalist and media manager with 28 years of experience in the industry. He was born on August 27, 1965 in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan. In 1993 he graduated with honours from Moscow State University’s philosophy faculty with a degree in political science. He began his journalistic career in 1992 at the Kommersant publishing house. From 1993 he has worked in the newspaper Segodnya (Today) as a section editor and first deputy to the editor-in-chief. In 2001 Kirill took the helm of the weekly magazine Itogi (Summary), one of the most popular and influential publications in the country. It is published by Sem Dney publishing house. In 2014 Dybsky took the post as publisher of Sem Dney publishing house. One of the projects that he oversaw in this capacity was the informational-entertainment website 7days.ru. Based on the data from 2018, the readership of this digital project has grown by 38% and its advertising revenue grew by 220%. Thanks to the respect he has earned as one of the most experienced media managers of the publishing house, in February 2019 Kirill Dybsky took the editor-in-chief position of the joint editorial teams of Caravan Istorii and Kollektsia Karavan Istorii - popular domestic publications with a lengthy history. In this role, his tasks included the continued development of the magazines by improving the quality and structure of the content, as well as new visual solutions. During the lockdown measures imposed to battle the coronavirus pandemic, the editorial staff of the magazines led by Kirill Aleksandrovich was able to maintain their print circulation and a stable readership.

Kirill Dybsky’s professional qualities have earned him the highest praise. The journalist and media manager has received the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 2nd class, and formal recognition from the President of the Russian Federation.
