Since October 2015 Alexey Zemsky has been in charge of NTV broadcasting company.
2008 to 2015 - Deputy General Manager of VGTRK (Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company) and head of the Production and Technological Department of VGTRK. During this time he took part in the organization and production of the large-scale TV events such as the Victory Day parade on Red Square, which was dedicated to the anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War, direct line with the President of the Russian Federation and press-conference of the President of the Russian Federation.
2003 to 2004 - Deputy General Manager of the NTV television channel. He was responsible for the non-informational TV-projects.
He has been working on TV since 1991.
1991 to 2003 – co-founder and general producer of the independent TV production company Figaro Studio. During this time he was a producer of the successful TV projects such as the international festival of young pop singers New Wave in Yurmala, The New Year Night and music awards Zolotoy Gramophone (Golden gramophone) for the Channel One, talk-show Koma (Coma) for the NTV television channel, Speshite delat dobro ( Hurry up to do good) for TV channel TV Center, TV movies Zastava (Outpost), Kitayskaya Shkatulka (Chinese box) and Taynaya strazha ( Secret guard).
Alexey Zemsky was born on October 11, 1967 in Moscow. He graduated from the Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in 1990. From 1993 to 1996 he was a student of the faculty of direction having majored in “director of television and feature film” at the Russian State Institute of cinematography (VGIK).
Alexey Zemsky is a member of the International Television and Radio Academy.
