Gazprom media presented a new federal channel Match TV

Moscow, Russia – Gazprom media, the leading diversified media holding in Russia and Eastern Europe, presented the new federal TV channel Match TV. CEO Gazprom media Dmitry Chernyshenko and general producer of TV channel Match TV Tina Kandelaki told about the concept of channel’s broadcasting, development strategy, flagship projects and the people who will appear on the channel.

Match TV is a federal, widely available television channel that focuses on sports and healthy lifestyles. Match TV begins broadcasting on November, 1.

"We are creating a dynamic, modern and inspiring channel, which will show the sport in a new way, the power and energy of the people, which are hidden behind every story and victory. Sport is, above all, joy, entertainment, a sense of unity and pride, and we will try to reflect the entire palette of sports emotions. Line-up programs of Match TV

The basis of broadcasting will consist of important sports competitions and activities. Apart from the traditionally popular sports (football, basketball, racing Formula 1) Match TV will show box, volleyball, swimming, mixed martial arts, tennis, American football and others. The audience of Match TV will see the broadcast of European and American competitions. Particular attention will be given to the winter sports - ice hockey, biathlon, figure skating.

Match TV is not limited only to sports broadcasts. The new channel will broadcast a large amount of exclusive content of its own production: sports news, a daily analytical programs, documentary series, author programs, reality shows, talk shows, feature films and TV series about the sport. The channel will broadcast projects about health, fitness and nutrition. The experts, doctors, nutritionists, trainers will share their experience with the audience.

The key program of the channel will be a daily show All go to the match. Sergei Shnurov, Evgeny Savin and Yuri DUD ("Culture"), Dmitry Shnyakin ("Understudy"), Alexander Fur ("Mad sport") will be anchors of the new TV channels. Sports ‘stars’ took part in the promo video of TV channel: Olympic medalist, snowboarder Alina Zavarzina, the Olympic champion in the pole vault Yelena Isinbayeva, the Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Kabayeva, forward of Zenith football team Alexander Kerzhakov, tennis player Svetlana Kuznetsova, Olympic champion in figure skating Tatiyana Navka and many others.
