Match TV and Sellout Sport System launched a new football digital platform on the eve of the 2018 World Cup - Hypemeter 2018. The resource allows users to analyse various football-themed content from social networks.
Hypemeter 2018 is designed to promptly collect data and track activities in social networks of all national teams and football players participating in the 2018 World Cup. The platform will search for and analyze the information posted by footballers and the national teams of the 32 qualified countries on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, VKontakte and YouTube, and then publish them as a table on the website. All the information on the website will be available in nine languages. The platform operates based on a unique methodology developed by SelloutSMIndex and is available on the sub-domain of the Match TV website (hypemeter.matchtv.ru).
Website users can find out which of the footballers and national teams are leading in terms of the number of likes, reposts and comments on social media, as well as which team’s videos are getting the most views. Hypemeter 2018 will also invite its users to vote at the end of the 2018 World Cup and choose which players should win in the nominations “King of Instagram,” “Best World Cup moment” and others.
