​Autoradio station gets YouTube Gold Play Button

Avtoradio became the first radio station in Russia with an audience that exceeded 1 million people on YouTube. Avtoradio’s official YouTube channel surpassed this mark in early April. As a reward, the radio station received the Gold Play Button during its evening show Murzilki Live on August 2 from Andrey Stebunov, head of YouTube’s partner program in the music and sport categories across Russia, the CIS and Israel.

Avtoradio’s YouTube channel was created on April 1, 2013, on the eve of the radio station’s 20th anniversary. In February 2015, the radio station started posting high-quality video content on the channel, including fragments from the Diskoteka-80s festival, interviews with celebrity drivers, and live concerts of Russian and foreign artists in its studio. By 2016, the radio station’s YouTube channel earned 100,000 first subscribers and the “Silver Button”.

As of today, Avtoradio’s YouTube channel holds more than 5,2000 videos and the total number of views of its musical content adds up to about 700 million. The channel gets around 10 million unique viewers every month, while the number of its subscribers has surpassed 1.25 million people. In addition to its main YouTube channel, Avtoradio develops two more - Murzilki LIVE and a channel for interviews and reports, Avtoradio OnAir.

Avtoradio is one of the largest network stations in Russia and a leader in Moscow’s FM broadcasts. The station’s projects are distinguished by originality and creativity, and an innovative approach. In 2018, the jury of the Radio Mania professional industry award recognized Avtoradio’s team with a “golden microphone” in the “Promotion in digital environment” nomination.
