The winners of the prestigious international competition in the field of television marketing, promotion and design PromaxBDA Europe were announced in Rome, Italy on March 13. TV-3 channel won the silver award in the nomination “Main poster illustration” for the image to the second season of the series Chernobyl. Zona Otchuzhdeniya (Chernobyl. Estranged Zone).
The series Chernobyl. Zona Otchuzhdeniya, which is filmed in a retrofuturistic style, became the most successful project that TV-3 made itself. It was watched by 7.6% of viewers aged 14 to 44. The main poster to the new season reflects the concept and atmosphere of the series. As such, it was designed in contrast yellow-black tones and plays up images that are associated with radiation hazards.
An international conference of promoters, marketers and designers in the field of broadcasting and multimedia was held as part of the PromaxBDA Europe awards. A representative of the Russian media industry participated as a speaker at this event for the first time. TV-3’s marketing director Lily Sheroziya presented a case study on the promotion of Gogol, the first TV series in the world to be released in cinemas.
