Oktyabr Cinema Centre is the main premier site of the country.

Oktyabr Cinema Centre was built in Moscow in 1967. Since then Oktyabr is one of the central cinemas of the country which premiered best films even in the Soviet times.

In 1998 the cinema was closed for reconstruction that was completed in August 2005.

It was opened again on September 5, 2005.

The total area of the building after the reconstruction is 18 013,14 sq m. Oktyabr multiplex houses 11 screens fitted out with the most modern projection and sound equipment. There are also 8 bars and 2 restaurants. 3,450 people can see a movie in the Oktyabr movie centre. The multiplex screens are equipped with Dolby EX Surround sound systems, Simplex Millennium II and Simplex Combination projectors and Harkness screens.
