In this role, Alexey Matveev is responsible for the bank's investment business: client asset management, capital markets, direct investments, securities trading, research and market analysis. Alexey Matveev also oversees the work of the Public-Private Partnership Center and the Department of Project and Structured Finance, which supports clients with products and tools for financing investments and capital intensive projects.

1986 to 1993 – Served in various positions at the Russian Development Bank (Vnesheconombank, USSR) and the Moscow International Bank, specializing in financial, monetary and credit operations.
Alexey Matveev was born in Leningrad in 1963. He graduated from the Moscow Financial Institute in 1986 with a degree in international economic relations.
